Description
Our chickens are sold by the whole carcass & final weights are variable. This deposit goes towards our butcher fees and is deducted from your final total due upon receipt of delivery. We cannot guarantee exact weights but every effort is made to get you the size you need!
Our meat chickens spend 3-4 weeks in a brooder before moving out to graze on fresh grass between May & October to hunt & peck for bugs as nature intended. Like their laying hen counterparts, pasture raised meat birds are a great source of Omega 3 fats & complete proteins. Chickens are available as whole birds only and conveniently packaged in a shrink bag ready for freezing. Delivery dates will be confirmed once deposits are placed. Final price for each bird is based on a value of $8.50/lb or $18.75/kg. Birds on average weigh 5lbs, or 2.27kg.
