General
I offer seasonal meal plans and small-batch butcher boxes designed to bring ease, inspiration, and deeper connection to your everyday meals. Whether you’re cooking with our locally raised meat or following one of our high-protein meal plans, everything I create is rooted in traditional methods, seasonal ingredients, and the desire to make mealtimes feel meaningful again.
My meal plans are for home cooks who value seasonal food, traditional recipes, and intentional living. They’re especially helpful if you’re feeding a family, want to simplify your weeknight dinners, or need inspiration for using local, farm-fresh ingredients—without starting from scratch every night.
Once you sign up, you’ll receive an email with instant access to the digital meal plan. Each one is beautifully designed for easy use—you can view it on any device, print it out, adjust servings, and even generate a personalized shopping list that hides meals you won’t be making or ingredients you already have on hand.
These aren’t generic templates or calorie-counting diets—they’re seasonal, thoughtfully crafted recipes inspired by traditional foodways and built around real-life rhythms. Each plan is designed to help you eat well with less stress, using ingredients that support local farms, reduce waste, and taste incredible. Plus, they celebrate lesser-known cuts of meat and simple, nourishing meals that bring a sense of belonging back to the table.
Not at all. The recipes are designed to be approachable for home cooks of all levels. Each one includes clear instructions, helpful tips, and a balance of familiar techniques with just enough creativity to keep things interesting—whether you’re new in the kitchen or have been cooking for years.
Each day’s meal plan is designed to provide approximately 150 grams of protein, spread across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack. This helps support energy, satiety, and overall wellness—especially important for active households and growing families.

Butcher Boxes & Local Service
We currently deliver our butcher boxes and farm-fresh goods to select regions of Alberta, with regular routes serving Edmonton, surrounding communities, and parts of central Alberta. If you’re unsure whether your area is included, check our Service Area page or get in touch—we’re happy to help clarify!
Each butcher box is filled with a thoughtfully selected variety of locally raised, ethically sourced meats from our farm. You’ll receive a seasonal mix of premium and everyday cuts—like roasts, steaks, chops, ground meats, and slow-cook favourites—designed to help you make the most of the whole animal. For those with freezer space, we also offer bulk meat options, perfect for families or anyone looking to stock up with a half or whole animal share.
Our butcher boxes are designed to provide a week’s worth of meat for a couple, and are available on a weekly or biweekly basis, depending on your needs. Supply is limited—we raise a set number of animals each year to ensure quality and sustainability—so we encourage customers to reserve early and plan ahead to secure a steady supply throughout the year.
Yes! We offer a custom butcher box option through our online store, giving you the flexibility to choose the cuts that suit your household best. For our standard boxes, we do our best to accommodate preferences when possible, though we encourage our customers to be open to trying a variety of cuts. Exploring the whole animal not only supports sustainable farming—it can be incredibly rewarding in the kitchen too.
Our meat is not certified organic, but it is raised with the same care and standards you’d expect from a high-integrity farm. Our animals are pasture-raised and grass-fed (with supplemental non-GMO grain where appropriate), without the use of growth hormones or routine antibiotics. We prioritize animal welfare, regenerative practices, and nourishing food you can feel good about.
We offer both! Local customers can choose home delivery or opt for free farm pick-up by appointment. Whether you prefer the convenience of doorstep delivery or a quick visit to the farm, we’ve got you covered. We only ask that you respect our family’s privacy and call ahead to arrange an appropriate time to come by.
Ingredients & Sourcing
Yes! Our meal plans are built around seasonal ingredients, and we prioritize local, farm-fresh products whenever possible. It’s all about celebrating what’s naturally available and at its best—just like the food we raise. There are exceptions, of course – coffee being one of them.
No problem at all—each meal plan includes suggested substitutions for hard-to-find or seasonal ingredients. Whether you’re shopping locally or adjusting for dietary needs, you’ll have flexible options to make the recipes work for you.
Our recipes are designed around traditional, seasonal cooking and don’t specifically cater to dietary restrictions at this time. That said, many meals are naturally adaptable, and we encourage you to make substitutions where needed—we’re always happy to offer suggestions.
The best way to store your meat is to keep it frozen until you’re ready to use it—our cuts come vacuum-sealed or paper-wrapped and labeled for easy access. For best results, thaw in the fridge overnight. To save time during the week, consider portioning and marinating cuts in advance, or batch-cooking versatile staples like ground meat or stews to have ready-to-go meals on hand.
Business Values & Philosophy
A deep love for seasonal food, traditional cooking, and a desire to help families reconnect with where their food comes from. I wanted to create something that supported local agriculture, reduced overwhelm around mealtimes, and made it easier for people to enjoy nourishing, high-quality meals—without needing to overthink the planning part.
My values—seasonality, sustainability, simplicity, and respect for tradition—guide everything I create. The recipes are rooted in local, responsibly sourced ingredients and time-honoured techniques, making the most of what’s in season while minimizing waste. It’s about offering real food with real purpose, thoughtfully prepared to nourish body, bones & soul.
If you live outside our delivery area, you can still support our farm by subscribing to our seasonal digital meal plans. They reflect the same values we follow on the farm—seasonal cooking, whole ingredients, and traditional methods—so you can bring a taste of our kitchen into your own, wherever you are. You can also support our broader mission by seeking out like-minded farms in your area and supporting them in pursuit of the same shared goal: a more nourishing, connected, and sustainable food system.
